MOOSE (Moosey Goose) had his last heartworm injection last week. This boy is MIRACLE! We took a huge risk on him when the vets said his prognosis was poor. Some people would think 50/50 odds are too risky considering the cost, but to us, a 50/50 chance meant he had a chance, and that’s all we needed to hear. Moose has such a sweet, calm spirit about him (as long as there are no cats in sight). He is also a ninja and once got a whole pan of freshly baked dog treats (pan and all) off the stove without even making a sound! Another time he swallowed his foster whole loaf of banana bread. What can we say? Everyone has their vices. His are cats and fresh baked goods. Other than that, he is perfect. He is quiet and calm and walks well on a leash. He really just wants to be next to his favorite person, whether that’s taking a walk or lying around and binging on Netflix.

This boy has fought so hard through almost being put down at the shelter, then having open heart surgery followed by a series of heartworm injections. He is more than deserving of a home to call his own. Please help us find his family! He is currently in boarding and could really use a foster or forever home.
